Ryan McMahon continues to dominate the California League

Nashville 5, Albuquerque 1

W: Leon, A (2-5, 3.04); L: Whiting (3-8, 5.91)

It was a pretty uneventful day for the Albuquerque offense, as they collected just four hits. PuRP Tommy Murphy hit his sixth Triple-A home run and his 19th of 2015, producing the lone run of day for the Isotopes.

The real bright spot was Jairo Diaz, who has improved recently. Through his first 39 appearances in Triple-A, Diaz had pitched 44 innings with a 5.73 ERA, 44 hits allowed, 32 strikeouts, and 34 walks. Over his last eight appearances, Diaz has pitched 11 innings, allowed 7 hits, struck out 18, and walked three, all without allowing a run.
