The Colorado Rockies are desperately trying to get their offense on track but despite some late-game scoring were unsuccessful (again) tonight at Kauffman Stadium as they lost to the Kansas City Royals, 4-3.
Feltner dazzles
Ryan Feltner was in top form, getting into the third inning before giving up a hit to left fielder Drew Waters. A double-play ended the inning, and though there was some traffic in the fourth due to a walk to Bobby Witt Jr. (probably not a bad choice, frankly), the Royals were unable to capitalize.
That changed when Waters came up in the sixth and hit a home run off a hanging slider.
