More than five years had passed since Jorge De La Rosa last walked six batters in a game. Sunday at Coors Field, he did it in less than two innings.
The ace of the Rockies — the pitcher counted on to stop a slide and right the ship — walked six Los Angeles Dodgers hitters in seven trips to the plate in the fourth and fifth innings.
After the game, De La Rosa walked out of the Rockies' clubhouse without answering questions from the media.
The Rockies (11-17) have lost nine games in a row.
