We're at that point in the season. Matt Harvey was originally scheduled to start against the Rockies today. But in order to keep Harvey's innings down as the Mets prepare to contend for the postseason, they'll send Logan Verrett, who will make his first big league start, to the mound instead. This is a disappointment. In an alternate, happier, timeline, I'm happy that the Rockies will miss Harvey. In the actually existing 2015, no Harvey means the game is missing what would have been one of its most compelling draws.
