Major League Baseball is returning to Mexico for the 2019 season, with the Rockies set to host the Diamondbacks on March 9-10 in the first of three two-game series in Monterrey.
The Colorado-Arizona series will be spring training games, followed by regular season sets on April 13-14 (Cardinals vs. Reds) and May 4-5 (Astros vs. Angels). All games will be played at Estadio de Béisbol Monterrey.
The Rockies are making their fourth appearance in Mexico, the last one coming in 2015 in a spring training contest against the Diamondbacks in Hermosillo. Colorado also played the Padres on Opening Day in 1999 (Monterrey) and during spring training in 2001 (Culiacan).
