DENVER -- The Rockies have tendered 2018 contract offers to all five of their arbitration-eligible players, including center fielder Charlie Blackmon and second baseman DJ LeMahieu, who head into their final year of arbitration.
The other three -- right-handed starting pitcher Chad Bettis and lefty relievers Chris Rusin and Zac Rosscup -- are in their first year of arbitration.
MLB Trade Rumors projects arbitration-eligible players' salaries based on its mathematical model, and the site projects LeMahieu, the 2016 National League batting champ, to earn $8.8 million in 2018 through the arbitration process, and Blackmon, the 2017 NL batting champ, to receive $13.
