Meet the Mets, sweep the Mets?
It Didn't seem very likely when the three-game series opened at Coors Field Friday night. After all, the Rockies had lost 11 consecutive games to New York.
But the sweep became sweet reality Sunday with at 4-3 Colorado victory. Pinch-hitter Ryan Rayburn was the hero of the moment, hitting at two-run homer to right field off reliever Jim Henderson with one out in the seventh inning to put the Rockies ahead for good.
DJ LeMahieu set the table by drawing a leadoff walk off starter Jacob deGrom and advancing to second on a wild pitch.
