Kris Bryant is showing off his A swing early in spring training.
Bryant, starting in right field for the first time in a Rockies uniform Wednesday, hit a towering, 431-foot home run onto the left field concourse at Salt River Field.
“Bryant’s was a great swing … it was good to see that out of Kris,” manager Bud Black told reporters in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The homer was Bryant’s second of spring training, and his second in his last three games.
Injury updates: Starting second baseman Brendan Rodgers underwent an MRI on his injured left shoulder and the Rockies are awaiting the results.
