Rockies left-hander Tyler Anderson, who returned from a knee injury to finish last season with a flourish, has some thoughts about his fellow starting pitchers as spring training nears.
“This is going to be a fun group to be a part of,” said Anderson, who, after going 3-1 with 1.19 ERA in his last four appearances last season, projects as Colorado’s No. 2 starter. “I’m excited. There is going to be competition in camp and I think that’s a good thing.”
Anderson, perhaps the most cerebral of all of Colorado’s young pitchers, was asked to play word association about his fellow starters.
