Rockies snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, lose to Reds 7-5 in extras

The Colorado Rockies saw a 5-2 lead in the eighth inning turn into a 7-5 loss in 13 thanks to another meltdown from the bullpen. Reds outfielder Jesse Winker provided the final blow in the bottom of the 13th with a two-run, walk-off home run to prevent the Rockies from sweeping the series.

The bullpen continues to struggle

Mike Dunn did his best to get the Reds back into game allowing two walks and a single to three batters he faced in the eighth innings forcing Bud Black to bring in Scott Oberg to face Joey Votto with the bases loaded and no outs.
