The Colorado Rockies have signed pitcher Jose Mujica and designated pitcher Wes Parsons for assignment, the team announced Wednesday.
Mujica, a 23-year-old right-hander, was most recently with the Rays organization and missed the entire 2019 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
When he was most recently on the mound in 2018, Mujica posted a 3.75 ERA in 57 2⁄3 innings at three different levels of the minors. The lion’s share of those innings came at Triple-A Durham, where he had a 2.
