The Rockies continue to add depth to their infield.
The club has agreed to a minor-league contract with infielder Kelby Tomlinson, although the contract does not include an invitation to big-league camp, a source confirmed Monday.
The signing of Tomlinson comes on the heels of last week’s signing of veteran infielder Chris Owings, whose minor league deal does include an invite to major league camp. Owings can make $1.1 million if he makes the roster out of spring training.
Tomlinson, 29, was selected by San Francisco in the 12th round of the 2011 draft and played with the Giants from 2015-18.
