Rockies shut out at the Mets for the second consecutive game

NEW YORK — This never happened when Troy Tulowitzki played for the Rockies.

Actually, it did, but not often. In 14 games at Citi Field, Tulowitzki was a .438 hitter and drove in 11 runs.

In three games at Citi Field this week, the Tulo-less Rockies have scored just two runs, both on a Carlos Gonzalez home run in the fourth inning Monday. They've been shut out twice in two nights since then, and Wednesday they had just three hits in a 3-0 loss to Jacob deGrom and the New York Mets.

The Rockies have lost nine consecutive games to the Mets in New York, dating back to August 2012.
