Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes was arrested on Halloween for allegedly assaulting his wife in their hotel room in Wailea, Hawaii, according to a report from Hawaii News Now.
Reyes, a four-time all-star, was traded to the Rockies in late July, coming over from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki.
Reyes is now out on bail, according to Hawaii News Now.
The Rockies have yet to confirm or comment on Reyes' arrest.
Reyes is due $48 million over the next two seasons.
