Trevor Story had a pretty good first week on the job.
And to cap it off, the Colorado Rockies rookie shortstop on Monday was named National League player of the week for April 4-10.
Story had a historic debut week, leading all of Major League Baseball in home runs (7), RBI (12), total bases (30) and slugging percentage (1.111). He hit .333 (9-for-27) and scored seven runs.
The 23-year-old became the first player to hit seven home runs in his first six career games. He is also the first player to go deep seven times in his team's first six games in a season.
