Rockies’ road woes continue in loss to Milwaukee that completes three-game sweep

Alice Cooper once explained the meaning behind the name Milwaukee in the movie “Wayne’s World.”

It’s actually pronounced “Mil-e-wah-que,” according to the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, which is Algonquin for “the good land.”

The Rockies would like to request another translation.

There was little that was good about their visit to the banks of Lake Michigan — a three-game sweep that ended with a 5-0 loss Sunday afternoon at American Family Field.

Then again, the Rockies have had to search far and wide to find anything redeeming about their trips away from LoDo.
