They insist there is no blame game going on and no crisis of confidence.
“It’s unfair to point fingers because, being in the middle of it, we know how hard this game is,” all-star shortstop Trevor Story said Sunday after the Rockies were swept by the Dodgers in Los Angeles, getting outscored 20–7 in three games. “Keeping that perspective — I know that doesn’t help ease any frustrations or anything — but we know the work is being put in and the preparation is happening.
