On the mound: Veteran right-hander German Marquez’s inconsistent spring continued. He served up a two-run homer to Joc Pederson in the first and a solo shot to Corey Seager in the fifth. Marquez gave up three runs on six hits with three strikeouts and one walk over 4 2/3 innings. With one more spring start left, Marquez has a 5.73 ERA. The good news is that his right elbow is healthy. … Right-hander Tyler Kinley, competing for the closer’s job, pitched one-third of an inning, getting a strikeout. Kinley has yet to give up a run.
