Another week of winter league action has concluded down under, with continued encouraging signs from some players and some not so great ones from others.
Alex Balog had his worst outing of his Australian season, throwing five innings in which he allowed four runs on five hits. He walked three and struck out five while taking the loss. He is now 4-2 on the year in seven starts, with a 1.67 earned run average.
Correlle Prime had a rough week, going 1-for-11. Through 28 games, he is hitting .252/.297/.388 with nine runs batted in. He is in the final fan vote in for the ABL All-Star Game.
