On Tuesday night, Tom Murphy (no. 11 PuRP) again showed us why he’s ready to join the Rockies by going 1-for-4 with a solo home run, his 4th of the year. In 12 games so far, Murphy is slugging .804 with an ISO of .391 for the ‘Topes — the kind of power that would be really useful to a major league baseball team struggling to score runs. David Dahl returned to the lineup for Albuquerque after a stint on the 7-day DL (stomach bug shrug dot gif), and went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts, but made Rockies fans happy by simply existing on a baseball field for a real game again.
