While Ryan McMahon did not get a call up to the big leagues to replace the injured DJ LeMahieu, he did not sulk in his action with Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday. After hitting a three-run home run in the completion of a suspended game to start the day, McMahon went 2-for-3 with another home run in the Isotopes’ 7-4 win over Fresno. In total, he was 4-for-5 on the day with a double, a pair of home runs, eight runs driven in and a walk.
McMahon is now hitting .276/.329/.523 with 10 home runs in 49 games with the Isotopes this year, and can be expected to be back with the big club at some point this season.
