On a slow day for the Rockies’ minor league affiliates, Garrett Hampson showed off his speed by going 2-for-5 and stealing three more bases for the Isotopes. He now has 34 bags swiped on the year, split between Double-A and Triple-A, in 89 games played.
Garrett hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down since his promotion to Albuquerque earlier this year, and while his K% is up and BB% is down since the call-up, his OBP has remained fairly stable. He continues to be a dynamic player atop the lineup for the ‘Topes, keeping opposing pitchers and catchers on their toes.
