Colorado Rockies prospect Forrest Wall hasn’t had the career trajectory many expected of him when he was drafted in the competitive balance round in 2014 out of Winter Park, Florida. After a good debut with Rookie League Grand Junction followed by a good .280/.355/.438 the following season in Low-A. He stalled out a bit in the Cal League in 2016 with a .264/.329/.355 followed by an injury shorted 2017.
The current no. 16 PuRP has turned things around a bit in 2018. In his third turn in the Cal League he hit .305/.382/.453 before moving up to Double-A Hartford.
