Bladimir Restituyo (no. 27 PuRP) started off this year tearing through the Northwest League. Up until August 17, he was hitting .259/.266/.368 with four homers and 13 doubles. He wasn’t hitting for too much power, but he was making solid contact. He also stole 16 bases in 21 tries as a 17/18-year old (he turned 18 on July 2). Restituyo was signed by the Rockies in 2017 and, again, made a solid debut in the Dominican Summer League last year. Split between the two teams, he hit .300/.337/.456 with four homers, seven triples, and eleven doubles. He also had 16 stolen bases in 25 attempts.
