It’s been a season of major transition for the Rockies, especially with the departure of three key figures from the front office, but team president Greg Feasel said the franchise is in good hands.
“Yes, there has been change, but we feel good about how we are moving forward,” Feasel said Wednesday after a news conference at Coors Field to unveil plans for next week’s All-Star Game.
General manager Jeff Bridich resigned on April 26. Longtime scouting director Bill Schmidt was named interim GM on May 3, the same day that Feasel was promoted from vice president of business operations to club president.
