In this episode of the On The Rox podcast, Denver Post beat writers Kyle Newman and Patrick Saunders lay out the case for former Rockies outfielder Larry Walker to be elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in his 10th and final year on the ballot. Walker, the only MVP in Colorado history, earned 54.6% of the vote in 2018, up from 34.1% the year prior, and he’ll need another big leap in votes this year to hit the 75% induction threshold.
Plus, Newman and Saunders unveil how their Hall of Fame ballot would be if they each had a BBWAA vote … which includes another debate on voting for players whose careers were tainted by performance enhancing drugs.
