It’s time for the Rockies home opener! After what felt like a really bad road trip, the Rockies return to Coors Field for their first home series of the season with a not bad 3-4 record. They’ll face the team that is widely expected to be the Rockies’ primary barrier between them and their first division title, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Lefty Tyler Anderson will get the start for the Rockies, while righty Kenta Maeda gets the start for the Dodgers. Anderson will attempt to come back from a rough first start of the season. He gave up five runs and nine hits in just five innings of work against the Tampa Bay Rays.
