Nolan Arenado has reached a franchise mark that only Dante Bichette and Todd Helton have achieved.
The Rockies’ all-star third baseman on Tuesday was named the National League Player of the Week for the sixth time in his career, tying the record set by the two former Colorado stars.
Arenado, 28, was scorching at the plate, batting .538 with two doubles, four home runs, nine RBIs and seven runs scored over six games, helping the Rockies to a 4-2 record in that span.
He connected on his seventh consecutive multi-hit game in the Rockies’ win over Arizona on Sunday.
