SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Nolan Arenado is not quite where he wants to be, but he thinks he’s about to get there, just as the regular season comes into view.
“I feel good, but a little slow this year,” the Rockies’ third baseman said Tuesday afternoon, prior to the Rockies’ Cactus League game against the Angels. “It kind of reminds me of 2017 spring training, when it just took me a while to get going, and it included the (World Baseball Classic). I just couldn’t (get) comfortable.
“Last year, I thought I got ready pretty quickly, but this year it’s just taking me a little bit of time.
