Antonio Senzatela will start on the mound for the Rockies in Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Thursday at Milwaukee.
Senzatela, a 23-year-old righty, went 6-6 in 13 regular-season starts this year, posting a 4.38 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 90 1/3 innings of work. He went 3-1 with a 3.25 ERA in September, including a seven-inning outing at Arizona on Sept. 22 in which he allowed only one run (home run) on three hits.
Thursday will mark Senzatela’s postseason debut.
The Brewers haven’t announced their starting pitcher.
