The Rockies and free-agent left-hander Mike Dunn are closing in on a multi-year contract, reports Bob Nightengale of USA Today Sports (on Twitter). Improving the bullpen was a stated priority for GM Jeff Bridich following the introduction of new first baseman Ian Desmond, and a multi-year deal for Dunn would be the first step toward achieving that goal.
