Scooter Gennett, who had a glorious night of his own, would have none of that.
Dahl, who drove in three runs Saturday, lashed a bases-loaded liner that Gennett backhanded and flipped to second for a game-ending double play as the Reds won, 6-5, at Coors Field.
Gennett had five hits, including a first-inning home run. Dahl had doubled in two runs in the third and added a sacrifice fly in the fifth. But his liner merely turned into the fifth double play against the Rockies, thanks to Gennett.
