The Rockies head into the all-star break with a whimper and a prayer that they can find a way to get better in the second half.
With starter Tyler Chatwood struggling, relievers Jake McGee and Jason Motte giving up more late home runs and their bats muffled by a rookie starter, the Rockies fell 10-3 to Philadelphia at Coors Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Rockies enter the break eight games under .500 (40-48). They are 3-7 in July.
Chatwood has pitched like an ace on the road, going 5-0 with a 1.30 ERA. Coors Field is a different matter.
