SCOTTDALE, Ariz. — The Rockies are a candidate to host the 2022 All-Star Game at Coors Field, The Denver Post confirmed Thursday.

Officials from Major League Baseball have visited Denver multiple times, including on Monday. MLB is scheduled to announce its decision this summer.
The other contenders to host the Midsummer Classic are the Texas Rangers and Chicago Cubs, but Boston, Houston and Toronto are also being considered.
According to 9NEWS, the City of Denver and the Rockies are planning to incorporate the Convention Center and Civic Center Park in the plans for fan events over the three days.
