The Rockies struggled yet again to put together any offense. The Rockies were dominated by pitcher Alex Young, who had a no-hitter going into the sixth inning. Sunday’s loss marks their sixth in a row, dropping them down below .500 into the All-Star break. The Rockies will have several players who are playing over the break, but hopefully everybody can prepare to make up some ground in the second half of the season.
The Rockies are contenders for the Wild Card spot this year, despite their six-game losing streak. Bud Black thinks that the Rockies will be in a position to buy at the trade deadline.
