The Colorado Rockies used a six-run fifth inning to defeat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 10-5, on Tuesday night at Coors Field.
Things got started in the decisive inning with a Brandon Barnes single and a Kyle Kendrick sacrifice fly. Then Charlie Blackmon doubled in Barnes before DJ LeMahieu capped off his 1,876,012th good at-bat of the season with a walk. Troy Tulowitzki singled in Blackmon, raising his average with runners in scoring position to .399 (clutch) and Nolan Arenado cleared the bases with a three-run home run to turn a 4-2 deficit into a 7-4 lead.
