Meet the Mets, sweep the Mets?
It didn't seem very likely when the three-game series opened at Coors Field on Friday night. After all, the Rockies had lost 11 consecutive games to New York.
But the sweep became reality Sunday afternoon with a 4-3 Colorado victory. Pinch-hitter Ryan Raburn was the hero, hitting a two-run homer to right off reliever Jim Henderson with one out in the seventh to put the Rockies ahead for good. DJ LeMahieu set the table by drawing a 12-pitch, leadoff walk off starter Jacob deGrom and advancing to second on a wild pitch.
