Rockies complete sweep of Giants to improve to 7-2, 6-0 on the road

SAN FRANCISCO — The Rockies' season thus far is the stuff of a feel-good Hollywood script.

Behind a stellar start from lefty Tyler Matzek, more heroics from third baseman Nolan Arenado and a glittering defense, the Rockies beat the San Francisco Giants 4-2 on Wednesday night at AT&T Park. The Rockies are now 7-2.

The nightmare of last year's 21-60 road record is in the Rockies' rearview mirror right now. They are 6-0 away from Coors Field, having swept three games from Milwaukee — and also the Giants. One of the few road highlights of last season came at AT&T Park, when Colorado swept three from San Francisco from June 13-15.
