Carlos González has some advice for his teammates if they ever get to feeling that there’s a lot of pressure riding on them: “you’re not gonna get shot.” That’s what CarGo told his Colorado Rockies teammate Jon Gray before his start against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday evening. It was time to relax, and even if he didn’t pitch well, he was “not gonna get shot.” Gray ended up pitching extremely well and remarked after the game that he found himself enjoying pitching once again.
