Rockies’ bullpen implodes — again — in late-inning loss to Cubs

Too bad they don’t award points for creativity in the big leagues. If they did, the Rockies would be the clear front-runners.

Because they sure find inventive ways to lose baseball games on the road.

Monday night at Wrigley Field, the Rockies lost to the Cubs in brutal fashion as their bullpen suffered a major meltdown. The Cubs walked it off with a 6-4 win on Rafael Ortega’s two-run homer off closer Daniel Bard.
