In their 7-4 loss to the Mets Wednesday afternoon, Colorado flashed some enticing potential, but ultimately, the same old bugaboo reared its ugly head. Namely, the bullpen’s inability to put a game away. In other words, it was a bad 2019 sequel.
Colorado led 4-3 entering the ninth but New York scored four runs on three walks and three hits off reliever Jairo Diaz and Joe Harvey. The key hits were delivered by pinch hitter J.
