This morning, the Rockies announced their 30-man roster for the 2020 shortened season.
While most decisions were expected, there were a few surprises.
Most notably, the Rockies revealed that Peter Lambert had been added to the 45-day Injured List due to Tommy John surgery, a procedure he underwent earlier in the week, Nick Groke reports. (The diagnosis given early was a “right forearm strain.”) In addition, relief pitcher Scott Oberg will begin the season on the IL due to a back issue.
