Colorado will head to Albuquerque for a 2019 exhibition game, with the Rockies set to play on the afternoon of March 25 at Isotopes Park against their own Triple-A affiliate.
The news was announced by Isotopes general manager John Traub, Rockies general manger Jeff Bridich and Albuquerque mayor Tim Keller in a press conference from Isotopes Park on Thursday afternoon.
“We’re going to make it a fun event for fans, and we’re going to make it a game that will springboard our big-league team into the season,” Bridich said.
