Rockies acquire Utility Infielder Owen Miller from Brewers

On Saturday afternoon the Colorado Rockies made their first move of the nascent off-season, acquiring utility infielder Owen Miller from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash considerations. The move was first reported by Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Miller—originally drafted by the San Diego Padres with a third round pick in 2018—has spent parts of four seasons in the majors: two each with the Cleveland Guardians and the Brewers. He carries a career -0.9 rWAR per Baseball Reference while hitting .239/.287/.345 over a career 1,015 at-bats with 15 home runs, 99 RsBI, and 17 stolen bases.
