What bad start? OK, so it’s still a very bad start, but the Colorado Rockies have now won three straight games. They looked like a dominant team once again on Tuesday night against the hot-start San Diego Padres, winning by a final score of 8-2.
We were once again treated to an efficient start from Gray. He went seven innings, striking out five hitters and working around three walks on just 89 pitches. He located his fastball with lots of movement and had Padres hitters uncomfortable all night, with the only damage coming on a solo home run from Wil Myers.
