For the seventh time this season the Colorado Rockies have completed a sweep and for the second time this season it’s against the San Diego Padres. It was a back and forth affair that saw a combined nine runs in the first four innings but no matter what the Padres did, the Rockies always seemed to have a firm response.
They finished with eleven hits, four of them for extra bases and a productive 3-for-5 with RISP. Four different players recorded multi-hit games including Garrett Hampson who went 3-for-4.
The win improves the Rockies to 55-66 overall and 41-21 at home.
