The Rockies beat the Mets on Sunday to finish off the three-game sweep, as well as a really strong 6-3 road trip. The Rockies improved their season record to 20-15.
Things didn’t start out so well for Kyle Freeland. The first three batters of the game singled, but after that Freeland allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out eight. He handed it off to the bullpen after seven innings. Noah Syndergaard was tough but not that sharp. He walked four and struck out five, and the Rockies scored two runs off of him in six innings.
