After a late, weird game last night, the Rockies were able to salvage the series against the Reds and start the second half off with a series win. Things got hairy in the early and middle innings, but Scott Oberg and Wade Davis were able to keep the Reds at bay in the late innings to preserve the 10-9 lead.
Ryan McMahon recorded three hits today and ended a home run shy of the cycle. The triple that he hit in the fifth inning was his first of the year and his second career triple.
