Don't send Sherlock Holmes to Albuquerque quite yet to determine if there's any mystery surrounding the performances of pitchers Rex Brothers and Jon Gray.
Brothers and Gray, whom many thought would be on the Rockies' roster to start the season, are struggling in the early going of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League season. But Zack Wilson, the Rockies' director of player development, said there isn't any mystery as to why.
"We look at Brothers as an elite pitcher and we look at Gray as a player who will become an elite pitcher," Wilson said. "They both are working on some things to get better.
