In a follow-up from last week, Adam Peterson looks at the National League playoff teams and asks which rebuild model might fit best for the Rockies (hint: not the Dodgers). If I had my way, I'd go with a combination of the Pirates' model, which can be summarized as patient development while implementing analytical principles and creating a comfortable environment vertically and horizontally, and the Cubs model, which can be summarized as draft a whole lot of hitters and trade for pitching.
